Cosfest '10

I finally accomplished one dream of mine - to go to Cosfest.

Three words: It. Was. Awesome!

I cosplayed as Seychelles from Axis Powers Hetalia, and had one goal in mind: must find Nordics. Unfortunately, I didn't find all five. I found Finland on the first day, and Denmark on the second day.

DENMARK WAS CUTE :D More about Denmark later. As for now...

~Day 1~

I was Seychelles for both days btw.

Anyways, I had lunch at Burger King, and I saw a Spitter. I didn't have pictures, though. Didn't want to disturb her. It's manners to not ask for pictures while a cosplayer is eating. I'm following *behindinfinity's convention rules, so...

Anyways. On our way to the D'Marquee hall, I spotted Len at Subway, eating a sandwich.

In the hall, it was crowded. Cosplayers everywhere! Finland was at the entrance, and by the time I was going to take a picture, Finland disappeared. I was in despair. DESPAAAAAIR ;-;

But then N. Italy and S. Italy came up to me to ask for a picture. Then I ran after them for a picture.

EEEEEEEEEEEEE-- *cough*

Then I asked S. Italy to tug on N. Italy's E-zone.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-- ahem. Moving on.

My cousin, her friend and I were all into this one Lavi cosplayer. He was sexy, damn it! But I can't seem to upload it because it's taking a long time orz

There was a malay Bakura :D I FELT SO PROUD. He entered the Anime Karaoke competition and sang something from one of the Gundams.

~Day 2~

DAY 2 :D

DAY 2 IS MY FAVOURITE. It's mostly Hetalia, I tell you. Day 2 had more Hetalia cosplayers. And I even joined in the cosplay parade! AND SEPHIROTH'S ORCHESTRA PLAYED TOO :D

My cousin likes the Hungary. The Taiwan was so pretty~ And Austria was impressive.

I have a lot to say about Denmark, mainly because I'm a fangirl. I love the Nordics! And you have to admit that Denmark and Sweden are sexy. 

Well, first off I got separated from my group because I was looking for this Denmark. There was a Hetalia performance earlier concerning America's birthday (4th of July!) and I noticed this huuuuge axe on stage... As I strained my eyes and tiptoed, I saw Denmark, and immediately squealed in happiness and ran around. And then my brain couldn't function well lol.

I felt so honoured. In that picture, my mind was going HDUSIAFGUEAJGBHQWEKF KONGERIGET DANMARK AAAAAA~! But then I seem to look petrified oAo

SO HONOURED. *cough* Ignore the idiot at the back, I'll deal with him. Soon.

After that I gave away a Den bookmark I made myself to Denmark. She thanked me and apologised for not being able to dress up as France :D No worries, no worries!

Then there's the parade, where we walked round Downtown East. It was to mark the end of Cosfest. It was so awesome, seeing cosplayers walking in a long line. We did a few stops for Caramelldansen, which I have to sing a long to :D And there were also Marukaite Chikyuu moments, up and down the escalators. I wasn't with the Hetalia group until we reached the end of the parade, where all of us stood on a stage just outside the hall. And then I saw Denmark. And then Denmark patted my head. And my mind went haywire again :D

My mind: FHUAIGHJUEWLHGDJUHERAUHG KONGERIGET DANMARK KYAAAAA~

OH YEAH I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THE ONE WINGED ANGEL PERFORMANCE. IT WAS THE MOST EPIC PERFORMANCE EVER. The crowd was cheering! Sephiroth, Sephiroth! And then at the end of the performance everyone wanted an encore, but due to time constraint, they couldn't play. Video here.

And then Cosfest ended.

~Loot~

I simply can't resist my temptation to buy something, and I did for both days. This is Day 1.

Nordic print and KH doujin! The Nordic print is so cute! I'm going to keep it in a file for now, until I can get a frame. Then the KH doujin was quite cute, it was a collaboration.

The doujin was cute! It's in Japanese though. There was a panel where Sweden turned viking and I lol'd. Oh btw I'm role-playing Sweden on facebook. If there are any Hetalia rp-ers out there, please do add me here!

All together! 

All in all, I had lots of fun. My last con before Cosfest, Toy & Comics convention, wasn't that good. So now I know how it really feels to be in a convention. Meeting new people.

So. Anyone up for the Hetalia Only event? I'm going as Seychelles again! And then next year, I'm going as Sweden!

Takumi's updates

He's getting better now. He just had some pharmacologically induced sleep. Here's to wishing him well.

I just sent my card over to Takumi earlier this week, it cost about $1.10. I don't mind though, it's for Takumi. 

Also, I'm still working on my Witch cosplay, but I need to modify it so it's suitable for my age. Should I:

1 - Lengthen the top to cover my belly and lengthen the shorts a little and add a little bit of sleeves, so i don't feel as naked

2 - Change it into a one-piece dress, something similar to Namine's dress, just more ripped at the bottom. Also, fake blood for extra effect

or

3 - Cosplay as the Witch in The Passing campaign. (She has a new skin - she wears a wedding dress.)

...Witch one! (BADUM-TISH! bad pun.)

HAH.

It's really, really bad today. He's having attacks regularly, getting hopeless and depressed, starting to refuse help. I'm afraid he might not last much longer. I'm doing my best. - from Theo, posted via Facebook.

Who puts a student for remedial classes just because she doesn't hand up something? Like, seriously. Even when she's off due to a flu? COME ON. srsly, who's the teacher behind this? I wanna punch his/her face so hard for this. If it's the principal, I STILL DON'T CARE. I WANNA PUNCH HER FACE SO HARD.

There was also the annual Cross Country today, which I didn't come for, since I'm down with the flu, and then the PE Department was like, "Those who don't come today have to run 14 laps at the school field on Monday."

Two words: FUCK YOU.

Screw you, PE Department, SCREW YOU. You don't care for the sick ones? Why do the sick ones have to run 14 rounds? Why can't we just run 6 rounds? PUT SOME MIND INTO IT.

Everyone, go flame Ping Yi. FLAME THE DAMN SCHOOL.

Now then, to go in depth into this fandom.

My favourite character? Oh, I have many. There's Sigma, Lien, Malchut, Kukaru, Nox, Matin, Hannes, L'Erisia, Joah, Shamshir... But my five most favourites are (in no order whatsoever) Malchut, Lien, Sigma, Nox and Matin.

AGH MATIN. Matin is awesome. Pretty. Pretty-Awesome. So is Nox, who looks ever so girly with his braid.

And then Malchut is Adorable-Awesome.

And then my favourite pair - Sigma and Lien, which I ship. And Sigma is always on top. ALWAYS. ALWAYSALWAYSALWAYS. Oh you two, the mathematical pair. Sigma has awesome hair. I'd like to have her hair. Zapping anyone who annoys me.

I also want Lien's math smarts. So I don't fail at math. LIEN. YOUR BRAIN. I WANT TO EAT IT.

Diving into my Cosmosphere

Lately I've entered a new fandom: Ar tonelico.

I'm getting Cross Edge soon.

I gotten interested in Hymmnos. My Hymmnos is very bad. I fail. But I would like to continue learning Hymmnos, because I can mislead others. Like, no one knows how to speak Hymmnos, right? Hymmnos is all about feelings.

It's deep.
And then the concept of Reyvateils really interest me. What's my favourite Reyvateil? It's Misha Arsellec Luuuuune!
And also, everyone has at least heard of Rule 34 right?
